Managing concentrated liquidity manually can be complicated, requiring constant monitoring and rebalancing. Beefy’s CLM takes care of that for you—it automatically optimizes and rebalances your position so you can earn more with less effort. You’ll also get APY insights and real-time stats to track your rewards.

We will be phasing out our custom Uniswap liquidity mining program, which rewarded providers through airdrops. The last day for that program will be March 31, so liquidity providers have time to switch over to the Beefy CLM vault.

Our previous system let users manually manage liquidity, but it also:

Beefy is a great option if you want to automatically manage your position—it compounds your rewards and handles strategy execution for you. But if you'd rather be hands-on, you can choose to manage your LP positions manually.

For example, you can provide liquidity directly on Aerodrome, where 1.75M $DEGEN is being dedicated weekly to incentivize the DEGEN/ETH CLM pool.

Just a word of warning: incentives in the Aerodrome pool are paid out in $AERO tokens, not $DEGEN. So if you’re looking to stack $DEGEN, you’ll need to manually claim and swap rewards.

Before becoming a liquidity provider (LP), here are some important considerations:

• Impermanent Loss: When you provide liquidity to a volatile pair like DEGEN/ETH, price fluctuations can lead to impermanent loss. This means the value of your assets in the pool might be lower than if you'd simply held them outside the pool.

• Beefy Vault Lockups: With Beefy, during periods of high volatility—especially sudden upswings or downswings—your liquidity may be temporarily locked. This is a safety mechanism to prevent manipulation and protect the vault. However, it means you won’t be able to withdraw immediately until volatility subsides.

Make sure you fully understand the risks and mechanics of the platform you’re using before jumping in.
