We’re proud to announce the rollout of Stargate’s instant bridging! That means you can finally swap between native DEGEN contracts on DEGEN L3, Base, Ethereum Mainnet, and Arbitrum, with even more chains coming down the pipeline shortly. As part of the package, we’re also spinning up new canonical USDC, USDT, and WETH contracts so you can bridge instantly and exchange your favorite currencies for DEGEN on your favorite DEGEN chain!
This new multichain presence is enabled by the LayerZero OFT standard, which uses Decentralized Validator Networks to ensure that funds remain safu while in transit between networks. A nice perk of this partnership is that every client that uses LayerZero or Stargate under the hood will receive instant support for DEGEN trading, for instance, some of the world’s favorite wallet providers. 👀 👀 👀
Keep an ear to the ground because we’ll be targeting all your favorite chains for immediate support, like Solana, Optimism, and Binance Smart Chain, as soon as we can finish wiring up the contracts. In the meantime, dust off your hat and explore the latest that DEGEN L3 has to offer!

If you already have USDC or WETH on the DEGEN L3, you will need to bridge out of the old contracts and bridge back into the new canonical contracts at bridge.degen.tips
You will want to do this because we will be supporting liquidity on the new contracts shortly
If you already have DEGEN and it’s not on the L3, then give the new bridge a try and play fearlessly on the preferred chain of degens everywhere

How do we best handle WETH or DEGEN locked in an existing LP (e.g., in /rivera)? cc: @asinha.eth
We recommend gradually withdrawing your positions and then bridging/swapping to new contracts. We will be redeploying the WETH/DEGEN vault on new pools soon.
This will be great when it works! I just tried it with my WETH on degen L3 but it didn't recognize it. I'll try again later, as I'll assume it's still being worked on.
Did you run into an error? We’ve got a new WETH contract on the Degen Chain now, so the old WETH contract should be ignored. Let me know if you need help!
I tried the WETH token address as well, but shows not available I have WETH on L3 DEGEN as 0xf058eb3c946f0eaeca3e6662300cb01165c64ede

To see your balances, make sure you’ve added the new WETH and USDC contracts to your wallet.
Can you elaborate on "launching new canonical USDC, USDT, and WETH contracts"?
We had WETH and USDC before, but due to how Stargate works, we launched new contracts. If you’ve got the old ones on DEGEN Chain, you’ll need to bridge them off and back on using Stargate. A bit of a hassle, but it’ll make everything smoother moving forward!

The Base DEGEN CA stays the same. The link you saw was pointing to the LayerZero OFT adapter, which caused some confusion, so I’ve updated it to avoid misunderstandings.
