2. Flexibility: Users can move their NFTs between Ethereum and the Superchain at any point in time, and in the future easily migrate collections between the Superchain network if needed.

3. Verified for Trust: To maintain a thriving and trusted ecosystem, NFT collections can receive "verified" status by attesting the provenance of their new L2 smart contract address. Teams can expedite this process by connecting with the Based Bridge development team at District Labs. This process helps us prevents scams and phishing attempts, ensuring a safe environment for creators and collectors.

Ready to layer up your NFT collection? Getting started is simple:

Before an Ethereum NFT can be bridged to the Superchain, a new L2 NFT must be created, with a direct connection to the original collection address.

You can deploy the new L2 NFT here.

The bridge is open and permissionless, so it's important to verify the provenance of the collection using a public social channel, before it's given verified status.

You can verify the collection by creating and sharing an attestation using Ethereum Attestation Station (EAS) or sharing a Twitter/Farcaster post from a verified account stating the mainnet address and the L2 address.

Once the collection has been verified, the NFT collection address will be added to the Emerald Superchain NFT token list and automatically displayed in the application frontend.

Every NFT holder will now be able to see the verified collection in the Based Bridge and will be able to bridge their NFT to the new chain.
