Sharing Art is Vulnerable
Creating art and putting it out into the world can be a deeply vulnerable act, yet this aspect often gets overlooked in favor of conversations about price and market value. @juliakponsford captured this when she said, “Sharing art publicly can be a very vulnerable thing.” [3] This vulnerability is particularly pronounced in a space where value is frequently measured in floor prices and sales.
