Thanks to Rafi on Warpcast, I found an interesting sling bag from Ticket To The Moon. I knew Rafi was previously based in Bali, so I was hoping TTTM is based in Bali, since getting small stuff from overseas is a hassle with a current import tax threshold of under 3 usd in Indonesia 🙃.
Before anything else, from my perspective, this bag is designed for right handed people, sorry minorities. I'm going to use Right side and Left side from the perspective that I'm currently using the sling bag on my body, which means outer side of the bag is facing outside to you normies, not facing my body.
The sling bag is pretty impressive compared to all of my previous small EDC sling bags, design is thoughtful and they did something what I've never seen other small EDC bags do, elastic loop fixture that's stitched on the end of the adjustable strap, so you won't have any dangling strap or have the elastic loop wiggle out of place after some agitation, really thoughtful.
Another thing I'm icky about daily EDC sling bag is shoulder strap buckle placement, it's always arbitrary but not this, it's permanently fixed on the bag's Right end, so it's really convenient if you want to unbuckle, no awkward self hugging and scratching in public just to unbuckle.
The sling bag has a total of 8 compartments, comprising of:
• outer slanted zippered compartment (top-down zip to open)
• main compartment
• inner mini pocket on Left extreme end with velcro tab
• 2 inner zippered compartments (body side):
- bottom zippered pocket
- top zippered pocket:
> main zippered pocket
> 1 sleeve with button clip button (body side)
> 2 open pockets across sleeve that are horizontally aligned
Carabiner lanyard on inner Right end is really throughtful too, at least to me, since all of my previous sling bags' key lanyard is located on the Left end, very annoying and unintuitive.
Material wise, it's 70D crinkle nylon, durable and light enough for everyday activities, 100D and above would be kinda overkill.
Here comes the visuals:
