Below, we will walk through the process of adding to the LP and becoming eligible for these rewards. Keep in mind that this is not financial advice and you should read up on impermenant loss before entering any liquidity pool.
Here's a good place to start in reagards to impermenant loss from Uniswap: https://support.uniswap.org/hc/en-us/articles/20904453751693-What-is-Impermanent-Loss
Let's Begin
First, let's head to the Uniswap V2 Pools Website: https://app.uniswap.org/pools/v2
I will be walking through as if you're viewing on mobile. You'll need to connect your wallet before you can start to take any action. Once connected select Add V2 liquidity.
Choose Liquidity Pair and Supply to LP
After selecting Add V2 liquidity, you will need to select the two coins to be paired. In order to earn the Merkl rewards, you need to pool an equal dollar amount of USDC and Moxie on Base. You can provide as little or as much as you choose. Once you select the two tokens and the amount, you will select Supply. After that, you will need to confirm the supply.
View Your V2 Pools
Once complete, you can view the pools you are in on the Uniswap Pools page. Uniswap usually defaults to V3, so you need to change it back to V2 to view the pool. Sometimes, the pool you entered doesn't show up and you need to import the pool. If that's the case, select import and add the USDC/MOXIE pool.
Keep in mind you can add to your position and stake that at anytime. You can also unstake and remove your position at anytime. Removing liquidity from the pool might reduce your rewards or stop them entirely.
Viewing Your Merkl Rewards
Go to the Merkl website and connect your wallet here: https://merkl.angle.money/user
Down the page you can view your active positions. You will need to make sure you select the chain to view it. Once rewards process you will also be able to view and claim on this page.
None of this is financial advice and you should always do your own research before taking any action. This guide is meant to be informative and may not be 100% accurate depending on the time of reading.
