For the fifth time, we reward Kiwi contributors.
This brings the value of all rewards paid out to the Kiwi community to over $18,000 (2.8158 ETH, 3571 OP), not including the $KIWIMAS tokens value.
This time, we have three reward types:
1) Most active Kiwi contributors from the last few months,
2) All Kiwi contributors so far,
3) $KIWIMAS airdrop.
Here's the breakdown:
1. Rewarding the recent Kiwi News contributors
We rewarded key contributors who built apps, improved security, fixed bugs, and more. We tried to allocate money based on the amount of work and the size of the outcome delivered.
Here’s the list:
rvolz.eth: 0.2226 ETH
Rainer helped us improve Kiwi nodes and built Kiwi Search.
mishaderidder.eth: 0.0519 ETH
Misha helped us keep the site alive by being the most active curator.
ccarella.eth: 0.0519 ETH
Chris helped us set up and organize the Nouns writing contest.
miragenesi.eth: 0.0445 ETH
Miragenesi helped us to improve the security of our onchain ads contract.
heapoverflow.eth: 0.0445 ETH
Heapoverflow helped us to find and fix a security bug.
leafilipo.eth: 0.0223 ETH
Lea helped us iterate on our brand, visual identity and app design.
albi.eth: 0.0223 ETH
Albi - just like miragenesi - helped us to improve the security of our onchain ads contract.
dmnc: 0.0148 ETH
Dmnc helped us improve the app’s design by sharing a few prototypes.
2. Retro funding to Kiwi News contributors
This is the 5th Kiwi Retro funding round, and we want to share our OP Retro grant money with all contributors so far. It's our way of thanking them for putting work into Kiwi when it was a much younger project. We have 740 OP and 0.301 ETH to share.
We won't list every single contributor here because it's a long list, but we added all of them to the group chat, where we will figure out the payments.
OP will be distributed based on invoices sent to Tim.
3. Airdropping $KIWIMAS
We also share $KIWIMAS tokens with our community.
$KIWIMAS is a memecoin created by our community member tudorizer.eth, you can read about it here. We spent over 1 ETH on tokens to distribute to our community, reward everyone who put some work into Kiwi, and let them share a potential upside.
We shared over 20% of our holdings with the community.
Who received $KIWIMAS:
Every Kiwi Pass holder,
We airdropped tokens to all Pass holders as a way to thank them for putting trust (and a bit of ETH) in our project.
Top100 Kiwi karma users.
We airdropped the top 100 Kiwi karma users because, without our curators, there wouldn’t be Kiwi.
All paid contributors.
We airdropped all our paid contributors so far, so on top of ETH and OP they get some $KIWIMAS allocation.

We also run a Rounds.wtf where you can win some $KIWIMAS tokens by sharing your kiwi story.
