In the rapidly evolving world of Web3, growth strategies require innovative approaches that align with the decentralized ethos of the space. Recently, we partnered with Ponder, a Farcaster-native survey and Q&A tool, to launched a growth campaign.

This post will describe the case study and how we leverage our core principles to drive engagement and growth for Ponder's Q&A tool launch on Farcaster.

(Read here about CoOwn Growth Studio for more general intro about us)

Campaign Objectives

Our primary goals for this campaign were to:

1. Support the launch of Ponder's Q&A tool on Farcaster and kickstart widespread use of it.

2. Foster active participation in asking and answering questions

3. Demonstrate the tool's potential as a growth instrument for brands on Farcaster

The CoOwn Growth Studio Approach

Our approach to this campaign followed a structured, community-driven process:

1. Preparation Phase

We began with multiple in-depth calls with Colin, Ponder's founder, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the tool's features and capabilities. This phase was crucial in aligning our strategy with Ponder's vision and technical capabilities.

2. Planning and Community Engagement

In this phase, we tapped into the collective intelligence of our co-created community. We organized brainstorming sessions to:

- Source high-quality questions for the campaign

- Identify optimal channels for posting on Farcaster

- Develop techniques to maximize engagement

In this phase, not only we utilized the hive mind of the collective, but we also provided invaluable feedback to the team about the product and it’s features

3. Participation and Launch

The heart of our campaign was the "war room" launch event. This high-energy session brought together our entire community to:

- Submit questions on Farcaster in real-time

- Kickstart the Q&A product launch

- Create a buzz around Ponder on Farcaster.

4. Campaign Wrap-up and Recognition

To conclude the campaign on a high note, we:

Budget Allocation and Rewards

To incentivize participation and reward contributors, Ponder allocated a budget that we structured to serve the need for members contributions

Campaign Results

The results of this campaign were nothing short of extraordinary. In the words of Colin, Ponder's founder:

Results speaking for themself:

"The recent campaign we ran with CoOwn Growth was an overwhelming success. We saw tremendous engagement, with approximately 350 questions posted over a two-day period, resulting in around 1,500 to 1,700 answers. Notably, we achieved nearly 200 rewarded questions, which puts us on track to meet our milestone for the Optimism fund release."

The CoOwn Growth team's performance was particularly impressive. They came together seamlessly, quickly adapting to the product and asking insightful questions. The quality of feedback we received was exceptional, and we've already begun implementing some of the suggestions.

Impressive team with exceptional product feedback:

" This campaign not only met our quantitative goals but also provided valuable insights for future improvements. We plan to thoroughly review all feedback...ensuring we capitalize on this momentum."

The CoOwn Growth studio as a high quality collective:

Overall, this campaign demonstrated the CoOwn Growth team's ability to execute effectively and engage our community, setting a strong foundation for our future initiatives. I was really impressed with how they all came together, figured out how to use the product, asked the right questions, and provided great feedback. Their expertise and dedication were instrumental in making this campaign a huge success."

Lots of learnings and insights from Farcon but one that hit me hard is that as high signal high quality the Farcaster community is, that comes with a huge disadvantage Since everyone are so capable, we are all (I'm including my self in this sin) trying to push our own thing As much as I came with a stated goal to find collaborators, it feels like if you really wanna find ppl to build with you, better find them outside of this community.

this could connect nicely with other insight that I got...builders are also super early adopters. how can we help each other out more by trying each others products? maybe the matchmaking could tap into that...we should be each others first users

i'd love to implement this feature on @productclank. for my own need + for any builder launching on PC Actually that was a feature @dwr.eth suggested i consider when we met in Farcon Top believers in products could also be early adopter that help test, try and provide feedback to a newly launched product
