Subscription starting strong
In the first week of the Muse Token subscription service, two exclusives were released.
The first was Asemic Continuity, a piece representing the continuous cycle of creation, of repetitive practice circling the objective of refining and perfecting a technique.
It was a first-come-first-serve limited edition free NFT and was fully minted within the first day!
In the next day, I deployed Muse Editions on Base and Airdropped token #1 to all 38 subscribers. Jagged Harmony combines analog and digital in a three-stage creative process. First I created a pen-and-paper meditative calligraphy artwork by hand. Then the artwork was photographed, and manipulated digitally. I changed the colors and added some subtle pixel sorting to the edges of the piece. This result was then brought into Stable Diffusion where I created the 6 frames of the final piece, reinterpreting the pixel-sorted textures as paint on a canvas. The result is honestly one of my favorite calligraphic pieces I've ever minted and I'm grateful to the subscribers who now hold it in their collections. Here it is:
Free mints and airdrops aside, week one was a time of laying foundations and exploring options. I created a telegram group, taking advantage of their new #topics feature by creating a Muse Exclusives channel where subscribers can get updates on free mints first. Make sure to join to be the first to know about perks of subscribing, and to be part of the discussion.
And some shortcomings...
Unfortunately telegram topics are too early on in development to be compatible with bots, so the channel is not yet token-gated. As soon as its possible, Muse Exclusives will be an active-subscriber token-gated channel.
Another unfortunate detail is the pricing structure of gather.town is much more expensive than I anticipated, so the Muse Studio exclusive virtual office will not be an option for now. I will keep an eye out for more affordable solutions that better fit our uses.
But fortunately we have even more subscriber benefits to look forward to...
The December Muse Raffle: An Opportunity for Growth and Rewards
This December brings the launch of our first Muse Raffle on Friday Dec 22nd, an event specially crafted for our subscriber community. This raffle goes beyond just being another reward; its an opportunity for you to reap additional rewards through referral fees and unlock more raffle prizes. The baseline prize of the raffle is a Ethereal Realm III, a single-edition NFT minted on Ethereum Mainnet from my MXJXN Artworks contract. Ethereal Realms are my inaugural mainnet collection of pure-AI artworks. These gateways represent the realm of AI itself and the uncanny worlds beyond their threshold. They beg the question of the viewer - will you cross through? Will you explore the vast possibilities that lay beyond these gates?
There's more in store for those who help our community grow before the day of the raffle. If we welcome 25 new subscribers, an extra prize will be added to the raffle: a bespoke t-shirt, hand-painted or printed with my signature abstract calligraphy style. A $60 value. The winner will be asked for their t-shirt size and preferred style between semi-random and orderly styles pictured, or my established circular style from my past artworks.
Should our community expand by 50 new subscribers, I will include another exclusive prize: a one-of-a-kind framed meditative calligraphy, a $500+ value. This artwork in my most well-known art style shipped directly to the winner.
Only subscribers who have added their email address to their subscription are eligible, because I'll need to get in touch to finalize details and get shipping information after the raffle winner is chosen!
