Streaming Artistry Beyond Boundaries

From Spontaneous Strokes to Open Artistic Ventures

In the world of digital artistry, where art has become both a medium and a message, livestreaming one's creation process has emerged as a unique and transformative experience. To create in front of an audience is to reveal the deeper meaning behind my work as a process of discovery, introspection and exploration. As an artist who blends tradition and technology, I want to take you through my process, my philosophy, and my vision for the future of my work.

Meditation Through Art
My relationship with abstract calligraphy began during a turbulent phase of my life. The strokes, patterns, and repetitions served as a therapeutic exercise, helping me find tranquility in challenging times. My art goes beyond the final piece—it captures the journey. Every segment of the pattern emerges from a spontaneous choice, and each stroke mirrors my current state of mind. This act of creation mirrors life itself, where patience, acceptance, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected are key. It's the subtle variations and inconsistencies in each stroke that make the artwork feel genuinely human. This inherent unpredictability is what brings each piece to life.

Drawing from Millennia of Tradition
While my process is spontaneous, it's deeply rooted in tradition. Every stroke I craft is inspired by the calligraphy of diverse cultures—Blackletter, Arabic, Chinese, and even Sanskrit. It's a dance of aesthetic choices and historical references, creating pieces that resonate with a millennia-old legacy while being distinctly contemporary.

The Livestream Experience
Livestreaming this process amplifies its impact. As viewers watch the artwork unfold, they're privy to my reflections on patience, on the beauty of inconsistencies, and the human essence that permeates each piece. It's also a space of mutual growth. Through livestreams, I've connected with many who see echoes of their own experiences in my words and art. These sessions aren't just about art—they're about community, conversation, and shared understanding.

CC0: A Tribute to Open Creation
I am dedicating all of my livestreamed calligraphy editions to the public domain via the CC0 license. My decision to license my works under CC0 is twofold. Firstly, it's a homage to the vast history of calligraphy that I draw upon. Just as I've been freely given this rich tapestry of knowledge and inspiration, I want to give back. Secondly, it's an invitation for others to engage, transform, and continue the artistic conversation. By making my works available for all, I hope to inspire others to see the world through my lens, and perhaps, add their own unique perspectives to it.

Minting as a Collective Journey
Minting my artwork live is more than just a process—it's a collaborative experience. By engaging with my audience in real-time, decisions around minting become a collective endeavor. The audience's active involvement not only deepens their connection to the piece but also demystifies the world of NFTs for many.

An Open Invitation
As I continue my journey, I invite you to be a part of it. Remix my creations, share them, or even mint your own versions. I'll be showcasing a curated selection on my website, providing a platform for artists and enthusiasts alike. Whether it's through a simple share on social media or a full-fledged NFT, your interpretations and derivations are always welcome.
