The first thing you'll likely to do is over think it

Getting started is usually the hardest part

I've been writing forever, but most of what I write exists in small snippets scattered throughout the web (twitter , warpcaster, various chat apps and community forms). On more than one occasion I've tried kicking the tires to get more of my long form content ideas out there, but nothing really stuck. Not all ideas are worth pursuing past a certain stage, but the ones you keep thinking about likely are. Now feels like the right time to get more of those observations, strategies and experiences out into the world.

Here's how I'm planning to use this platform, and what insight you'll gain in the process:

๐ŸŸข I have a decade plus of project management strategy to draw from. I'd like to share it where its relevant and help others out.

๐ŸŸข I co-ran a DAO from its inception to its eventual wind down. Not enough people talk about winding down DAOs, since most just fizzle out or get rugged. There's another (and I'd say better) way to sunset a DAO, so I'll be speaking to that here as well.

๐ŸŸข I beta test multiple products and services. As such, there's a consistency to what the good ones do right and the bad ones constantly do wrong. Spotlighting these practices are helpful for others on their own product journey. Hopefully some of them can help you.

๐ŸŸข Recognizing patterns & trends can help you navigate things with a keener sense of what to look out for, and how to hedge your bets accordingly. The (current) name of this blog derives its title from this kind of thinking. If this trend continues, you'll see more of this thinking shared here.

This newsletter isn't meant to just share observations, but start and continue conversations around these topics with people like yourself.
