Music has always been a journey for me—an exploration of moods, ideas, and transformations. With "Liquid Dreams", I’m taking this journey one step further. Let me tell you about it.
From "Moods and Modes" to "Liquid Dreams"
"Liquid Dreams" are the final deconstructions of my musical ideas. They first take form as acoustic "Moods and Modes" pieces, which are transformed into downtempo electronic "Remixes" (you'll find them linked in the main blog post) , and eventually mutate into short, dreamlike vignettes: the ambient soundscapes of "Liquid Dreams."
These pieces are very short, almost like musical snapshots. They’re built by taking samples from my remixes and completely mangling them—stretching, bending, and reimagining them into something entirely new. Each track is a tiny ambient world, just a minute long, a glimpse into a strange new place.
Only as NFTs, Only on Base
"Liquid Dreams" are available exclusively as NFTs on the Base network. Why NFTs? For me, it’s not just about releasing music in a new way; it’s about connecting directly with people who enjoy what I create. NFTs allow for a unique relationship between artist and collector, and that’s what excites me most. I’m experimenting with ways to make that connection meaningful—including surprises and gifts for collectors along the way.
Abstract Art & AI Hallucinations
The cover art for "Liquid Dreams" reflects the music: abstract, atmospheric, and open to interpretation.
But I didn’t stop there. Inspired by the abstract cover art, I started using AI to create related images in a surreal steampunk style. Think of it as a machine’s dream of the artwork. These AI-generated pieces feel like they’re part of the same world as the music—a natural extension of the "Liquid Dreams" project. Nearly every day, I publish a new AI image on Zora, where it’s free to mint as an NFT. These images are connected to the "Liquid Dreams" cover art, and I’m curious to see how they resonate with others. They’re experiments, little fragments of creativity, offered freely to anyone who wants to collect them.
Why "Liquid Dreams" Matters
Ultimately, "Liquid Dreams" is about connection. The project is an experiment in both sound and visuals, but it’s also an experiment in building relationships. Through the NFTs, I hope to find people who enjoy my work and are curious about what I’m doing. I want to be influenced by those connections, to let them shape where this journey goes next.
