Standard & Paws (S&P) is a project jointed by The Honey Jar; which works as a rating agency, which through a specific rating system, evaluates web3 projects in the Berachain ecosystem.
Its objective is to analyze the transparency, credibility, viability and reliability of these projects through a structured and objective process, providing detailed reports that help investors, users and developers make informed decisions.
Due to the exponential growth it has seen, navigating the Berachain ecosystem has become increasingly challenging. The surge of new projects overwhelms the community, making it difficult to thoroughly research each project.
Furthermore, as new members join the ecosystem, they are inundated with information from many protocols and products. This influx often leads community members to evaluate projects using only superficial criteria.
Unfortunately, this approach does not provide potential users with a comprehensive understanding of the true situation of the project.
S&P seeks to offer a complete 360-degree view of projects through clear and concise reports, obtained through its research and evaluation methodology created by the team to achieve that end.
These reports serve as a vital tool for the community, allowing them to differentiate projects driven by genuine commitment from those projects that might be high risk or low quality.
While S&P does not guarantee absolute protection against scams and rug pulls, it is a valuable tool for navigating the Berachain ecosystem with greater confidence.

The Standard & Paws evaluation process follows a structured methodology based on data collection and in-depth analysis. The steps include:
Data Collection: Public and private information is collected on the project, including technical documents, whitepapers, social networks, podcast and interviews with the founders, if necessary.
Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis: Expert evaluators examine each area using previously defined criteria. Scores are assigned to each category to ensure an objective evaluation.
Report Generation: The team synthesizes the findings in a report that includes a final grade and a detailed analysis of each area evaluated. This report is delivered to both the project team and the community.
Score Publication: Each project is rated on a scale. This ranges from AAA (Excellent) to C (Poor or below), providing a clear view of the level of reliability and viability of the project.
