The return
A new crewed mission to explore the Earth (now uninhabited and in inhospitable conditions) takes place in the 25th century. Ellie, who leads the "Nova Domus II" recolonization mission alongside her team, must confront the hope of a new future for humanity, with the uncertainty of discovering what happened to her father, who died under strange circumstances in the previous mission.
