Sorry to have skipped a week, I know you were all feeling empty inside and wondering when Touch Grass would return to your inbox. But I also know that the Touch Grass break meant that you spent your weekend doing shrooms at fest thinking about the enormity of the universe and how to serve real billions of people with crypto.
And then, at the end of such an enlightening weekend, the market collapsed. And we all realised that whether we like it or not, the only hint of mainstream adoption that exists right now is when the stocks and forex markets go to hell and crypto dutily follows. The fusion of worlds is not the one we wanted, but it’s maybe the one we deserve.
Ironically enough, the entire consumer crypto userbase was at Fest touching grass from Friday till Sunday, yet from what I gather on social media, we need to keep at it. To avoid repeating the great insights of the greats, I’ve just screenshotted a tweet that I think offers THE perspective we all need.
Don’t get me wrong, I am a second time Fest attendant and I did enjoy myself - met my internet friends and thrived under KD’s solid programming.
Anyways that’s about it for complaining. On a more happy note, also during the weekend, James and myself got the news our piece on decentralized social for artists has been published on the print version of Spike Magazine AND on the digital one. Here’s a tiny attempt to get out of our bubble by contributing to a cool, non-crypto yet crypto-curious art publication. Read the preview. Order the full thing here.
And now, because, we should all contain multitudes, here’s all the onchain-related content I liked in the past weeks and I hope you’ll like too.
Culture
Everything happening on /entrylevel, the Orb club by Chris Martz and Chromuh is amazing. They have almost 300+ members and they’re all creating at the speed of light. Reminds me of emerging, young art movements, because they are one.
Yeche Lange keeps pumping - i visited the gallery two weeks ago when I landed in NYC, it’s in the Financial District, in front of the Bull, in the most magnificent building, and on floor 15 - and it’s fresh, young, unconventional, provocative, everything. Thank you Wretched Worm and Soph for the tour. I’ll probably visit again this weekend, as I did not take good photos to show here, and because I really like it. Meanwhile, Paulystonejiva has been also shipping cool art in their Yeche Orb club.
Patrician’s an insane creativity engine - check their Orna here
Princess Tuti is giving, as always
The Orb curators program allocated Bonsai to people wanting to collect and curate artwork on Lens. Here’s Futura’s selection!

The Digital Art Dispatch by FuturaDrops - especially liked this one.
