I didn't know
how very much
I needed to
have my feet in
the water
until I stood in the surf.
Two weeks ago we made a short trip to The Netherlands. I managed to find a little time to step onto the beach and put my feet in the water. It's something I always try to do when I'm there, but it doesn't always work. This time, the moment I put my feet in the surf, I realised how much I needed that. I felt a load lifting that I hadn't realised I was carrying.
Sometimes life is like that. What do you do to clear your mind and free your shoulders?

Poésie de la vie
Protecting the coast from erosion and creating a unique place to strengthen our environment and allow for leisure, this mega project is an impressive example of applied science in The Netherlands. And a great way to touch sand and water.
