I got to get
my city fix
even if just
with a short walk
taking in
the vibrancy of the street.
As I live in suburbian bliss, with lots of green and space and (relatively) fresh air, I sometimes get the feeling of having dozed off. I love it here, but I am also a bit of a city boy. So, sometimes I need to go and wander the streets in the city. Big city, small city, doesn't matter. What matters is the clash of everything: a vagabond asking for money right next to the line for the Louis Vuitton flagship store, the modern architecture next to the centuries old building, the art in upscale galleries and world famous museums right next to the latest piece of that upcoming street artist, the rickety bike waiting at a traffic light next to the shiny Lamborghini Urus. The hustle and the bustle. The businesswomen and men and the tourists. It makes you feel alive. And sometimes, I need to get that fix.

When I was a teenager, I thought I was all about that concrete jungle life. But as I get older, I appreciate a quieter vibe. That said, I totally get what you mean - sometimes you gotta hit the city streets. All that movement can really make you feel alive
