Near the summit
by the blue lake
where the glacier
clearly recedes
Mother Earth's
beauty is overwhelming

We went higher this offchain summer, and found a beautiful blue lake at an altitude of 3000m. There was still some snow on the glacier, but clearly less than before. It's so very clear in the mountains in summer that our climate is changing. Still, the beauty of the views, the snow, the blue lake, the flowers growing in this hostile environment and the clarity of the air is overwhelming. It's a great reminder of how amazing and valuable our planet is.

Poésie de la vie

Even at 3000 m, right next to the flowers, you can find litter. Human trash left behind. Sure, some of it is debris from the ski season, but other things (plastic bottles, sunglasses, definitely don't belong in nature. So, I colected some of it, to throw in the bin. Even took some pictures with the Litterati app. Here's why:
