Who can you Trust?

I guess you can't even trust me. Because I am pivoting away from TrustScore.

Maybe I'll come back to it later, but probably not. Here's the thing, trustworthiness in crypto is still a huge problem and it still needs to be solved. But it won't be solved by me.

I've learned a lot while building out the first version of TrustScore. I've learned a lot about different crypto projects and how to evaluate their trustworthiness.

I still think this website should exist, but I've decided as a business venture, it's not the best choice for me. It takes a lot of resources to pull off a website like this and make it profitable.

I came across a better opportunity, Uniswap.fish, and am jumping to that. It's a tool that allows liquidity providers to calculate the APY they can make in specific pools in Uniswap. I acquired the website for $37k and am going to take it to new heights.

I'll start a newsletter where I'll be sharing about the building process and trying to create valuable content for LPs. So you will be able to follow along there!

As far as who you can trust in crypto... you need to be careful. There are lot's of great people in crypto that you can trust but there are also lots of grifters and scammers.

With every project you get into, you need to do the work to figure out it's weaknesses and blind spots. You need to figure out who is behind it and if they can pull the rug from underneath you.

It's a lot of work! And hopefully someone else will take this problem on and create a site like TrustScore that helps people easily find the info they need to trust crypto projects.

See you in the next journey!
