Rocketman Interview Revisited

A lot has changed since Vrbish edition #1, but some things, like Rocketman being the backbone of Vrbs, never change...

Rocketman and Wojciech recently passed a proposal in Nouns DAO to develop a "production ready" grants program, the v1 to Vrbs' v0.

Rocketman considers the Vrbs Grants Program the DAO's biggest success to-date, and I would have to agree. In one word I would call it 'frictionless'. Cool ideas can easily be added and funded, streaming earnings every second for your efforts. With how well grants have been working, I can only imagine how cool the next version will be.

Passing this proposal with nouns gives Rocketman and Wojciech the opportunity to develop a fully polished product and not worry about rushing to launch an MVP. The concept has already been tested and proven!

Since we last spoke he’s also put a lot of thought into his thesis on the Vrbs value proposition. With the massive opportunity we have to scale Vrbs’ mechanisms to the world, he wants to simplify the messaging.

He’s been asking himself, “What’s actually happening to people that have joined Vrbs? We are turning everyone into impact-makers, turning everyone into builders. And that’s cool because Vrbs is uniquely positioned to capitalize on a network of small businesses and builders to incubate them and do it in a sustainable way for the treasury. Overall we’ve built this collaborative system that allows us to empower the subculture of positive impact.”

And people are definitely starting to take notice! Base has consistently found people building in public, Rocketman and Wojciech being among them. They took notice of the Vrbs impact and the systems supporting it, resulting in awarding the Base Builder Grant to Rocketman to continue developing the DAO!

I asked Rocketman what's one thing he wants people to know. He told me his goal remains to help everyone turn their crazy ideas into reality. Vrbs DAO has and will have a culture of doing. If you have a crazy idea, reach out to Rocketman on X or Warpcast and it might just be the next big Vrbs project!

Moshicam Vrbs Frame

Vrbs community member Gramajo recently made a Vrbs frame for the onchain photosharing app Moshicam!

I see this as a method to more effectively spread the Vrbs brand! Instead of just sharing a photo of some positive community work, the Vrbs frame makes your photo instantly recognizable has a Vrbs impact.

As we continue to grow, I hope to see more Vrbs branded impacts across my socials!

Vrbie the Farm Rider

Art has this really cool way of communicating across language and geographical barriers. A new animation by Herbertonic really resonated with the community, especially for Hamachan.

Keep creating, you never know who your work will speak to on an emotional level!

Vrbs Hangout Video Recap
