Every Friday for the next 6 weeks Landyachtz will be hosting a social gravel ride for you to join.

The rides are open to anyone already signed up or still on the fence for the XFondo Whistler.

What you need to know

- 1pm roll out

- 2.5(ish) hours

- 42km round trip

- 650m of climbing

- Starts and finishes at 1146 Union St (Vancouver)

Here, we find Will halfway up one of the climbs on the freshly-created Rutherford Creek - Suicide Hill section of the Sea to Sky trail, which forms a chunk of the new Further distance category.

We went scouting to see what you're in store for and here's the verdict: some punchy climbs, technical loose stuff, a little bit of hike a bike and twisty corners that'll soon be invoking your lactic for all it's worth.
