There was a lot of debate on Twitter this week about Coop Records campaigns.
In short - Coop Records is the top user of Boost and one of the top creators on Layer3.
This sparked a lot of conversation from independent artist about the evolution of collecting and their discontent with using rewards to incentivize mints.
Coop Records cares about bringing great music onchain. We believe that to expand the TAM of onchain music we need to bring in net new users and the best way to do that is to work with artists that have growing fan bases.
We're constantly thinking about ways to expand our product and to evolve what it means to collect.
While no one quite has the answer - we've been very inspired by Zora's new mobile app and secondary market.
That's why we had Jacob on the podcast this week, to really dive in the weeds on all the nuanced the app and protocol had to offer.
If one thing is for sure - the energy is starting to shift and its go time.
The race is on to bring real people onchain and most crypto people can agree we still have a ton of work to do to get there!
