The first modular network fully compatible with the Danksharding roadmap. - This is what out lord master Vitalik been talking about (not the project, Danksharding).

Well there is your answer if there is an Airdrop. So if you want something easy and 100% free then here you go!

What do you need to do then? rn just join the discord and get ready for the testnet full announcement in the channel.

Easy to read Doc's - takes about 15 min to read if you are a fast reader.

Symbiotic:

Another new kid on the block, its better than all the other Restaking protocols out there so start staking now. - Thats what I've been told so it must be true. Symbiotic is neutral and permissionless, designed to be mutually beneficial with any protocol.

website here - Id recommend for whales not smol amounts! (minimum I think will be worth doing is >1 ETH) Maybe use mETH as they have a new campaign going on too!, but choose which one is your fave I guess!

Mitosis:

You can now earn points on Mitosis, ill be using on scroll. Just make sure you do something with it after. If you have read my previous guide there are many things you can do. also you get 1.3x multipler if you use mitosis on scroll!

Mantle mETH:

Looking for an alternative Staked ETH product then Mantle can be your shot!

They have a whole you campaign to earn you points which is all explained bellow and where you can get your Mantle ETH. There is also a TLDR at the end of the article for Mantle.

Current Airdrop Campaigns -

SyncSwap:

So SyncSwap is a Zk-rollup based DEX and we (I) have been using it for all our liquidity provisions on Linea, zksync, Scroll & Taiko. One reason is that they committed 100% of the Zksync airdrop to its users, and I'm betting they will do the same.

Furthermore, they are an "OG", so I trust this DEX more than these other DEX's, which we have seen RUG and have major exploits!

KelpDao/StakeStone/Swell:

All of these protocols are ETH staking protocols. My fave ones that I'm mainly using now are KelpDAO and StakeStone.

KelpDao currently has many incentives for Arbitrum and other L2 chains. However, I'm focused on Linea and Scroll. I am providing Liquidity ETH-wrsETH on both Scroll and Linea. Remember we have to be realistic here and the minimum value you should be providing is >$300 For a prolonged period of time >1 month ideally >3 months.

We are also participating in the StakeStone Carnival x Router Protocol (Link) Use my Ref: ABA94 Using that StakeStone on LayerBank to earn Bonus marks and providing Liquidity on the ETH-Stone pair on SyncSwap. Same with the above you want to have >$300 value of pools.

With Swell we are staking our ALT (AltLayer) airdrop in the Swell staking program, earning bonus Eigen Layer points and Swell. You can use my link here for bonus (its late in the campaign so if you want to participate then you should add more cash)

NICE W for us again, i mentioned in the last article that man of the projects will allocate $ZK to restaking ppl as well as SyncSwap will do the same. Furthermore, zkSync also eluded to rewarding those who did not sell $ZK and added liquidity/vote/hold -Similar to what OP did.

Bebop - Exclusive:

I first said this in early 2023, Bebop will most likely have a token in the future for using the project. In the recent spaces i have been in (with only 10ppl turn up). They mentioned about that they dont have a token "yet" so that means we could expect some good rewards.

Also this is a sick protocol by an amazing team so go check it out and in the previous article (link) you have full TLDR on Bebop.

Currently if you Trade of Arbitrum you can get ARB rebates

Quests

Scroll:

Your best alpha for Scroll airdrop is here, You better not be fading this one especially if you have been following since testnet days!

Berachain - OOOOGAABOGGGAAA

Here is the previous guide (its pretty simple and don't be a pleb and miss out). Look for those who dont understand how big and what you can do with PoL then you are deffo missing out!

Something that I am excited about: using liquidity pools as colateral for loans that will pay for themselvs. imagine you have $2k liquidity earning you fees and want to make some more degen plays and invest into other assets. your yield can pay your interest. WIN-WIN

You need to follow:

1) Whoiskevin 2)Bearasearch 3)Lordpemby

  • Dapp to learn and use

  • Complete these Quests

  • Bridge ETH to Testnet here

Nudge:

This could be something, Link. - Always use burner email!

Bridge Wars:

Also some people tell me why not this and that bridge? well these are the ones i have focused on and there are many others I have mentioned before.

Well its Farm Central on this one! Well you have 3 options

1) Choose the Cheapest Bridge.

2) Choose 2 bridges to focus on.

3) Look on Caddi first (best bridging tool)

Orbiter Finance -

The only way you get Points is:

  • Bridge

  • The different Pilot NFT's for the OG's who used the protocol, We saw with zkSync that one of the criteria was to have the NFT. So i'm speculating the 5 different tiers will have an impact on your allocation.

  • Probably over farmed unless you have that volume, fees spent and age

Router Nitro -

I really like this protocol, you can earn Carrots and upgrade your NFT when you bridge! Its a fast and cheap bridge and if there is a problem or error your funds will be returned to you after a few hours.

There also might be an airdrop when their chain launches and as well as bonuses. If you can use my referal link then we get extra carrots.

Jumper / Li.Fi -

I mainly use this protocol through Caddi as it often gives me great prices when I'm swapping/bridging. We also did the mercle campaign to get our upgradable PFP as we use the protocol.

deBridge -

Well this is another good and fast bridge, I use it for Solana bridging! use my Ref if you can as it helps us both xoxox

Hyperlane -

I used it to bridge a stack of TIA to Arb chain and get some incentives on camelot DEX.

bridge TIA from Celestia -> Manta -> Neutron -> Arbitrum

bridge TIA.n from Arbitrum -> Neutron -> Celestia.

DO NOT BE A PLEB AND DO IT RIGHT AFTER EACH OTHER. USE BRAIN plz.

Bridge

Also you can mint this NFT by using this bridge for some brownie points. Part of the hyperlane eco so it may be usefull.

I did Celestia -> Arb -> NEUTRON -> Celestia -> Forma

Linea Airdrop:

So campaign after campaign we are just being farmed! All I am doing now is:

1) Providing liquidity as mentioned in the Restaking programs on SyncSwap

2) Doing any of the free campaigns that offer free L-XP - need to be in my telegram for the limited campaigns they do.

3) Attend IRL events, if you are at ETH CC if you go to the Linea events or visit them you will get 100 L-XP per visit (check my telegram where to sign up)

Be very cautious as major project was hacked on Linea, obviously all protocols are risky, hence i stick to SyncSwap. Newer protocols may have more benefits but there are huge risks.

Zora:

So, its a "Creator" Platform. I think they will favor creators more than those who just mint projects on the various chains! Use my link to set yourself a profile : )

Its easy to upload some NFT's or create a collection so, it take a little bit of brain power to potentially make some big banks. (we did this for holograph and we got double the amount becuse we created our own collection)

If you wish to support me and get some activity on zora chain, base and the protocol itself, feel free to mint one of my podcast episodes and own it forever on-chain - No obligation at all and there is no benefit of owning (at this time, just for fun and the culture). Also follow the profile if you can, would mean alot!

Farcaster:

TBH I really love this and I think that its way better than X. Here is what you need to get up to for the possibility for rewards!

Also you can earn real hard cash money on something called bounty caster where people post jobs, ranging from non-tech, surveys, dev, marketing etc. Ive been paid for doing some jobs on there and its like one of the best innovations possible to Web3. 10/10

Use my Ref link if you can so we both get some Warps

DO NOT BUY A NODE! - Before all these shitfulencers started yapping about get a low cost node etc. 2 weeks prior bounties have been posted to figure out large scale redundant nodes on farcaster. Then they had to later on say "NO airdrop for those running a node". - The age of the shitfluencers is over!

Avail DA & zkEVM Polygon (POL)

Airdrop is around the corner. I have a small speculation that the airdrop could happen at ETH CC because of some of the event names. But thats just me.

My strategy is to wait a bit and see how it plays out, but this depends on your allocation. People building with Avail DA might get airdropped rewards in the future. Furthermore, as it’s made by Polygon Co-founder, we could potentially speculate new POL token/zkEVM to Avail DA.

I interview Prabal on my podcast during the incentived testnet and they 100% know what they are doing! Im saying it here "probably bigger than TIA". looking forward to being wrong. ;)

kresko:

Rememebr the Synthetic RWA trading platfrom that we took part in the testnet and the mainnet has been live for a while now. We got a lot of Kredits for the testnet and they did an airdrop for active users on Arbitrum and Optimism. Link (Good yields rn on arb)

Sentient:

Remember to sign up using this typeform

Nodle App:

Just a little update on Nodle that I posted few months ago. Been mining the crypto off the phone and saw that it’s going to be part of the ZK stack L2’s

I’ve earned quite a bit for it to use my Bluetooth/wifi in the background and earning tokens. (It’s free money) and has been love for a while on SyncSwap and can trade it.

Like with all these speculative projects I’m just hodl for the long term as it’s worth dust atm and could be worth more in the future.

If you want to start then here you go: https://nodle.go.link/?adj_t=6kvgwhg

Monad & Wormhole:

Just a reminder that you NEED to Delegate your $W tokens! If you CBA to participate in voting and stuff then please delagate your vote to me and ill decide on your behalf! <Delegate here>

aligned Layer:

Rn we have done all the quest's so be sure to be in the telegram for all the time sensitive stuff! dont fade

Taiko Trailblazers:

Earn points by swapping and providing liquidity, use Bebop!

Also convert your Galxe points for this campaign!

Chronicle:

So boy things he's got the alpha for you, users of the MKR DAO ecosystem and potentially protocols that use the Chronicle oracle like we saw with PYTH could be getting some rewards. Furthermore, holding and voting MKR tokens within the eco itself may have benefits. make sure its not on a CEX.

XION:

We have been woking on XION for nearly 4 months i think and its not too late still all the quests are active! Join here

Do not fade this L1, its all completely free and there is still so much time to complete all the quests! plus they already have been rewarded multiple airdrops that they will give to early users! SO DONT MISS OUT!

It will take you like 30 mins over a few days! :)

Namada:

Dont forget about the things we did with NAMADA and i think it will be a surprise airdrop for the ANON stuff you. can do on this chain so it could be a nice W in the future!

superposition:

Just a reminder that the testnet is on going and that you need to keep up your activity. Here is the guide for it.

  • make sure you claim your domains!

Alpha:

Mantle TLDR: - This copy and paste from my old medium account that was banned.

I was talking about this before the restaking mania. So maybe you should follow me to be ahead of the game!

OxMantle represents the future of blockchain solutions, slaying in a new era with modular design, efficient fraud proofs, and a decentralised sequencer system.

The OxMantle Advantage: A Modular Chain Approach

OxMantle takes a unique approach in the form of a modular chain, built to leverage restaking mechanisms through EigenLayer technology. This application significantly reduces transaction fees while retaining the security synonymous with Ethereum. As an ingenious solution, EigenLayer allows Ethereum stakers to extend their cryptoeconomic security to additional applications on the network while earning extra rewards.

EigenLayer is novel protocol constructed on Ethereum create a brand new cryptoeconomic security concept, referred to as “restaking.” This innovation allows for the reutilisation of ETH on the consensus layer. By opting into EigenLayer’s smart contracts, users who stake ETH natively or via a liquid staking token (LST) can restake their ETH or LST. This restaking process extends cryptoeconomic security to additional applications on the network and enables users to earn extra rewards.

In a simple view, Ethereum stakers can use EigenLayer to secure multiple services by restaking their staked ETH and simultaneously opting into various services, thereby providing pooled security. This method reduces the capital costs associated with participating in staking and considerably enhances trust guarantees for individual services.

Furthermore, EigenLayer addresses the issue of fragmented security that arises when a new decentralised service for Ethereum is built and a new trust network has to be established. The EigenLayer protocol permits any service, regardless of its composition (including EVM-compatibility), to access the pooled security provided by Ethereum’s stakers. This solution fosters an environment conducive to permissionless innovation and free-market governance.

Advantages of Modularity:

The modular architecture of OxMantle is designed for scalability and flexibility, allowing for seamless transitions in blockchain consensus mechanisms. For instance, it could smoothly transition from an optimistic setup to a Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Proof, or vice versa.

OxMantle vs. Traditional L2 Solutions:

In comparison to conventional Layer 2 solutions, OxMantle offers several distinct advantages:

  1. Modular Data Availability: Through EigenLayer, OxMantle provides significantly enhanced transaction throughput, outpacing traditional L2 solutions. The resultant accessible data availability means that OxMantle can bolster throughput without compromising on security or increasing the node operations’ overhead.

Data Availability and Trust Minimisation

Data availability lies at the heart of Layer 2 scaling. In the world of blockchain, “trustless” design is paramount, reducing reliance on full nodes and eliminating unnecessary trust in third parties. OxMantle harnesses cryptography to enforce hard rules and code, which ensures that the system operates as expected, minimizing the trust requirement.

In OxMantle, transactions are submitted and executed on the L2 chain, with the Sequencer publishing the full transaction data along with cryptographic evidence of the state transition on Ethereum. This empowers any node in the Mantle network to submit a fraud proof and verify the honesty of block production.

Modular Blockchain Rollups: The Game-Changer

Existing Systems

Traditional Optimistic Rollups (ORs) are reliant on Ethereum for data availability, final settlement, and fraud proof execution. Although these designs enhance Ethereum’s scalability, they bring with them substantial disadvantages, including expensive transaction fees for L2 users, limited throughput for L2 nodes, and long challenge periods before achieving finality.

Modular Rollups: A Leap Forward

In a modular blockchain, the core functionalities of blockchain operation — execution, consensus, settlement, and data availability — are conducted on specialised layers. This approach optimises each layer to perform a specific task, thereby reducing costs and boosting overall performance.

Multi-Party Computation (MPC):

OxMantle leverages Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to minimise the trust risk associated with L2 execution results. With Threshold Signature Scheme (TSS) technology, specialized nodes contribute to multi-party signatures, thereby enhancing the validity of off-chain transaction execution results.

One of the most significant improvements brought about by MPC is in the generation of Fraud proofs. This new approach allows users to bridge back from optimism or arbitrum in just 1–2 days, compared to the 7-day waiting period of traditional systems — a revolutionary leap forward!

Mantle introduces a reimagined approach to fraud proofs that are intrinsic to the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), thereby minimising trust assumptions. Optimistic Rollups (ORs) depend on fraud proofs to ascertain the accuracy of transaction calculations. Given the inherent optimistic nature of ORs, the implementation of fraud proofs becomes a crucial design decision. The existing challenges with contemporary fraud proof systems need to be critically assessed.

In the current fraud proof model, the on-chain verifier or the contract that settles disputes, is limited to executing instructions in a lower-level virtual machine like MIPS or WASM. Consequently, an EVM client must re-compile their fraud proof into this lower-level language, making the content of a fraud proof produced outside the EVM’s scope.

Due to this low-level transpilation, there’s no way to confirm that a fraud proof’s contents are directly derived from a compliant EVM client. Essentially, the on-chain verifier cannot identify the fraud proof’s origin, a blind spot that hinders the inherent trust-minimisation feature of the Ethereum client. A more efficient solution would involve the direct evaluation of a fraud proof using EVM instructions.

Improved Fraud Proofs: "The Mantle Model"

Mantle strives to establish this exact system. By compiling and verifying fraud proofs with EVM-level instructions, several advantages are achieved:

  1. Enable all Ethereum clients to interact with a common proof system, permissionlessly.

  2. Diminish trust assumptions among verifiers, clients, and compilers.

Moreover, Mantle plans to decentralise its Sequencer, which will facilitate secure and trustless block production. By cyclically rotating through a permissionless sequencer set, the potential for a single point of failure or censorship on the network is reduced.

Decentralising the Sequencer: Next-Gen Trustlessness

Typically, Optimistic Rollups rely on a single Sequencer operated by the rollup’s core team. Sequencers provide OR users with an immediate “soft confirmation” that their transaction will be included in the block feed to be recorded on Layer 1 (L1).

This model, however, presents two main concerns:

  1. Security risk: Sequencers have priority write access on the Layer 2 chain and are the only entities that can submit transaction bundles to the L1 contract.

  2. Operational risk: Dependence on the core team to operate the Sequencer introduces a single point of failure into the system.

To mitigate these risks, Mantle aims to decentralise the Sequencer, allowing anyone to join a permissionless set of L2 block producers. Sequencer nodes will receive $BIT rewards and stand to gain from any Miner Extractable Value (MEV) through block production.

By creating an architecture that allows multiple Sequencer nodes, we can infuse more liveness and resilience into Mantle. For an in-depth understanding of our Decentralised Sequencer’s operations, please refer to the Decentralised Sequencer Architecture.

Decentralised Sequencer Architecture: Overview

The current standard document outlines the decentralised sequencers, including the selection mechanism of the sequencer set and the consensus algorithm for the set to produce L2 blocks. Most L2 rollups presently operate a sole sequencer. While the sequencer cannot censor user transactions, it’s still desirable to decentralise it.

The primary goals are:

  1. Enable anyone to participate in the sequencer set as an L2 block producer.

  2. Reduce MEV, with each sequencer participating in the consensus process being able to determine transaction ordering.

Achieving the first goal involves no extra work on L2; we simply need to implement a leader election mechanism on L1. Proof of Stake (PoS) serves as an optimal

Achieving the first goal involves no additional work on L2; we simply need to implement a leader election mechanism on L1. Proof of Stake (PoS) serves as an optimal choice. To achieve the second goal, we also need to incorporate a Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) consensus mechanism on L2. The two mainstream BFT algorithm implementations are Deepest Branch Merge and PBFT. Given the same number of nodes, PBFT provides faster finality but may not meet L2’s performance requirements. Conversely, Deepest Branch Merge offers higher performance but slower finality.

A balance between finality and performance is sought by introducing a centralized scheduler to decide which sequencer produces blocks in the subsequent epoch. The scheduler and the sequencers maintain a heartbeat to judge sequencer activity and determine the next block producer. If the sequencer does not transfer the block to the scheduler on time, the scheduler will choose another sequencer as the next block producer.

Within the L2 network, there are two roles: scheduler and sequencer.

  1. Scheduler: At any given time, there is only one node participating in the L2 network as a scheduler. The scheduler is responsible for appointing a leader from the sequencer set according to a certain leadership election mechanism. The leader’s duty will be defined in the next role description. Additionally, it will also validate the blocks produced by sequencers and determine the finality of the blocks.

  2. Sequencer: There are two kinds of sequencers in the L2 network — the leader of sequencers and the sequencer follower. From the sequencer’s perspective, an L2 network consists of only one leader of sequencers and several sequencer followers. The leader is responsible for rolling up the transactions in L2, producing an L2 block, and broadcasting the new block in the sequencer network. Followers receive the new block from the leader in the correct epoch, and execute those transactions in the new block.

Through this dual-role system, Mantle aims to increase security, reduce MEV, and enhance system resilience, creating an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution that encourages broad participation and reduces trust assumptions.

Overview

In the rapidly-evolving world of decentralised systems, the search for scalable, secure, and decentralised solutions is a persistent challenge. EigenLayer introduces an innovative approach with its restaking mechanism, allowing Ethereum stakers to amplify the cryptoeconomic security across multiple applications without fragmenting the network’s trust foundation.

On the other hand, the Optimistic Rollups paradigm, while promising, has inherent trust challenges related to its current fraud proof model. Mantle’s answer to this issue is twofold: refining the fraud proof methodology by using EVM-native fraud proofs and introducing a decentralised sequencer architecture to remove potential single points of failure and increase the network’s resilience.

Mantle’s strides towards improving and decentralising fraud proof models while also decentralising sequencer functions are commendable and could usher in a new era of trust-minimised, efficient Layer 2 solutions. By decentralising critical components and using trusted, Ethereum-native methods for fraud verification, Mantle shows that not only is a future of scalable and secure decentralised systems possible, but it’s on the horizon.

In conclusion, as the decentralised ecosystem continues to mature, projects like Mantle, with its forward-thinking approach to fraud proofs and sequencer decentraliation, play an indispensable role. Their innovative solutions pave the way for a more secure, scalable, and inclusive decentralised future.
